I am kinda in a dawdling sluggish mode now, another two hours to home sweet home….

I’d do anything for a huge comfy cosy bed now ~ aircon blazing cold and I’m neatly cuddly tucked and bundled underneath a warm soft blanket with pillows all around me; in my birthday suit! *ahaks* … ultimate bliss!

I AM so happy HAPPY happy today…

well, I’ve been in euphoric mode since last night actually…

I got a text from Luke Kuyuk last night slightly after dinner and after having coffeetalk with Ros at the patio “Mama gave u sambal udang..” and I was like “Wow!” …

do u know how long has it been since I last had Mama’s sambal udang?

I remember clearly (actually Luke remembers it very well too! and reminded me) …apparently, when I was expecting JonJon, I asked Luke if there was any sambal udang at Tuavon and how imminent my craving was to have Mama’s sambal… BUT of course, I never got a taste of Mama’s sambal tat time and Luke conveyed it to Mama. To that, Luke knows very well that I’ve always loved Mama’s sambal… and, I’m so happy he reminded Mama and got a portion for me this time round!!

I am in such blissfulness… coz at long last, I got Mama’s sambal from Luke at lunchtime just now (yippee-dee-doo-daa yippee-dee-daay!!) nicely put and packed by Mama herself and can’t wait to go home and have a go at it!… yummy yum yum… it has been years since i last had a taste of it and Mama knows i’ve been asking abt it too!

Even when I was at Tuavon for Yon’s wedding last Friday – Sept28th, I asked whether there was any of Mama’s sambal in the kitchen…

Yea, it is INDEED a happy day for me…

(NOTE: Mama is Yon @ Gideon Jinu’s Mummy… half of my lifetime’s memoirs are and was at Tuavon and so Mama, Bapa, everyone at home and everything else with Tuavon will always have an exceptional place in my heart, will never fail to bring a smile to my face…)
